Recent Ofsted Inspection – OUTSTANDING
All of us were inspected on the 29th April. The inspector was here all day. We are still awaiting final hard copy of inspection reports and relevant logos to use in our advertising and letter head.

The grading’s reflect the hard work and good practise of all staff at the setting. We go over and above for our parents and children and the grading’s reflected this. Please see our reports online; a copy will be in the reception area.
The reports look at the quality and standards of the early year’s provision and we are graded in 4 main areas:

What the inspector highlighted in the reports:
-The childminder works extremely hard and has high levels of practice.
-The childminder expertly plans and teaches activities to brilliantly promote children’s personal, social and emotional development.
-Children develop excellent communication and mathematical skills and are thoroughly ready for their move to school.
-Childminders have high expectations of what children can achieve and provides highly effective activities that children respond to enthusiastically.
-Childminder is exceedingly knowledgeable about each child’s individual needs and skilfully adapts activities to highly challenge and interest them.
-Children focus extremely well during activities.
-Children play in a very welcoming, child-centred environment.
-Children are visibly very happy and highly confident.
-Childminder establishes extremely positive warm bonds supporting emotional well-being superbly.
-Childminder is extremely conscientious and provides high quality care and experiences for children.
-Childminder uses in-depth knowledge of how children learn to plan highly challenging activities that children respond to excitedly.
